Launching Talent Hub: Connecting Skilled Newcomers with Meaningful Careers in Australia

At Tawasul Foundation, our name means connection and today we’re excited to launch Talent Hub, a new initiative to unlock talents that builds bridges between talented migrants, refugees, and Australian employers who value diverse experience.
Over the years, we have listened to our communities and heard the same inspiring truth time and again: newcomers arrive with incredible skills, qualifications, and lived experience yet too often these gifts go unrecognised. Talent Hub is our collaborative response: a partnership program that reduce cost barriers, streamlines qualification recognition, and opens genuine career pathways so everyone can thrive and contribute.
This isn’t just another platform, it’s a community-driven movement.
Already we’re seeing talents unlocked:
- Ranya, who came from Palestine, gained Australian certification through our support and now leads as an Operations Manager.
- Osama, an Iraqi refugee, rebuilt his confidence with our coaching and is proudly working full-time at Woolworths.
