Building skills, building futures

Capacity Building

Our Capacity Building work is about opening doors and helping people walk through them with confidence.

Why It Matters

At Tawasul Foundation, we believe every person deserves the chance to fully participate in the life of their new community, through meaningful work, active citizenship and the practical knowledge to navigate everyday systems. Our Capacity Building work is about opening doors and helping people walk through them with confidence.

Arriving in a new country often means starting again, even for people with valuable skills and experience. Recognition, language, and unfamiliar systems can stand in the way of real opportunity. We work to remove those barriers, one connection and one skill at a time.

What We Do

We open pathways to employment, active citizenship and practical knowledge, helping people participate fully in their new community with confidence.

Building Active Citizenship

We run workshops and discussions that bring people together to build understanding, confidence and a genuine sense of belonging in community and civic life.

Sharing Practical Knowledge

From visa pathways to digital literacy, we deliver training and information sessions that help community members navigate Australian systems with clarity and confidence.

Opening Pathways to Employment

Through initiatives like Talent Hub and our Employment Coaching Program, we connect skilled newcomers with real career opportunities, and help translate their experience into recognised, meaningful work in Australia.

Our Work in Action

Every workshop, coaching session and conversation is a step toward a community where people aren't just present, but participating fully, in work, in civic life, and in the everyday systems around them.
