Celebrating Community and Collaboration at Hume Refugee Week 2024

Tawasul Foundation was proud to be a sponsor and active participant in the 2024 Hume Refugee Week, a vibrant celebration of the resilience, contributions, and diverse cultures of refugees in our community. This year’s event was a remarkable display of collaboration, bringing together a wide range of organisations dedicated to supporting refugees.

We were honoured to stand alongside esteemed agencies, including Metro Melbourne, SSI, BSL, SBS, Victoria Police, Fire Rescue Victoria, Breast Screen Victoria, Kangan TAFE, and many others. This collaborative effort highlighted the collective commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for refugees in the Hume region.

During the week, we engaged in various activities, promoting cultural exchange, providing information and resources, and celebrating the strength and determination of refugee communities. This event served as a powerful reminder of the importance of partnership and the positive impact that can be achieved when organisations work together.
