A Workshop on Anti-Racism with the Harmony Family Home Group

It was an inspiring pleasure to connect with over 80 adults, youth, and families from the Middle Eastern diverse cohort at the recent workshop in collaboration with the Harmony Family Home Group.

At Tawasul Foundation, our mission is to build bridges between Australia’s diverse communities , and this event was a powerful example of that mission in action. The session, which focused on “Building Resilience Against Prejudice: Understanding and Responding to Discrimination,” provided a safe space for crucial dialogue.

We were able to empower attendees by discussing practical, community-focused strategies for navigating and challenging racism, emphasising mutual respect, understanding, and collaboration. Other discussion points included how to report racism and navigate the support services.

This collaborative gathering strengthens community bonds and exemplifies our commitment to fostering a more inclusive and harmonious Australia. By focusing on empowerment and providing tools for success , Tawasul is dedicated to ensuring everyone feels welcome, valued, and respected.
